• 'A class ' which are the largest.
• '10 Raters' these are usually the fastest
• 'Marblehead's' they are becoming popular again.
• 'International 1 Metre, otherwise known as IOM, are the smallest of the classes, and
• 'East Coast 12's which are modeled on a 1958 Americas Cup test tank model.

However, the Club welcomes any other type of yacht that either a member or visitor wishes to sail.

All members are willing to assist and answer questions, we were all beginners once, so don't hesitate to ask.

Boats can be bought new and secondhand for a range of prices, and many are advertised on the Internet. The best place to look is the Australian Radio Yachting Association web site under 'Boats for Sale'. Some local boats maybe for sale at times... just ask one of the members down at the lake and you may be lucky.  If you need advice, other members will advise you whether or not they think what is offered is a good buy.

Requirements for sailing days:

• Patience, A chair, Hat and sunscreen, Fly repellent, Lunch and a thermos of coffee.
